We have recently been made aware of a scam email from an account pretending to be Urban Studies Editor in Chief, which includes an invoice requesting publication fees via a PayPal link.

Urban Studies manuscript acceptance letters do not include a link to transfer payment and we do not charge article processing fees.

Authors should contact the USJ Editorial Office immediately via our Contact page if they have received an email requesting payment and always report any suspicious emails.
